Welcome to the Central Texas Beekeepers Association.

We are beekeepers from all over the state of Texas, with the majority of our 150 members primarily located in the Washington, Waller, Austin, and Brazos Counties area.

Join us for our monthly meeting.

We meet the fourth Thursday of each month, we meet at the Washington County Fairgrounds, in Brenham, to discuss and share beekeeping ideas, methods, and swap a story or two.  Our normal schedule will resume in January.

Our meeting begins with the Youth Apprenticeship lesson at 5:30 and anyone is welcome to attend these lessons. We typically have 12 or so students and 45 adults listening in. Following at 6:30, we share in a covered dish dinner with the meeting and featured guest speaker starting at 7:15.

January 25th

Lee Kunkel will be speaking on slow release Oxalic Acid for the treatment of mites.

Registration will open in November

Bee School is a spring thing.

Each spring, we host the annual Central Texas Beekeepers Association Bee School at the Brenham High School. It’s exciting to see how this event continues to grow each year.  We are actively working on the plans for our 14th Annual Bee School which will be held in March of 2024.
